Fathers Day!

We had a very quite and laid back Fathers Day, because of all the things going on this past week, I will admit I wasn't quite prepared for Fathers Day! All in all it was pretty good, we just went over to my parents house and had a fabulous dinner, thanks mom! Then relaxed and headed back home. I want to thank my Dad for being such a wonderful Father, and Grandfather! My kids adore him and so do I! Love you dad! Also Laren's Dad, he is such a kind man and we love when we can visit, or he comes to visit us. My kids love to hear his stories. We love you to Dean, thanks for all you do!
Also I would like to thank Laren for being such a great Dad to our kids! Thanks for all you do for our family, we appreciate all your hard work and opportunities you provide us with! WE LOVE YOU!

Wedding & Family Fun!

So this past week has been crazy busy! Lets see here are some events that went on in June, rain, Bridal Shower, rain, Pony Express Days and Family Golf Tourny, rain, Rylee pulled out her second top tooth, rain, Soccer ended, rain, a wedding, rain and very muddy Strawberry Days!
We'll start out with Pony Express Days, Our kids love the carnival. They aspire to run the Gravatron one day! Inbetween rain we managed to get some quality carnival time in, its great because we can buy a wrist band and the kids could ride all they wanted all 3 days of the carnival. Needless to say we got our moneys worth, to bad it was so rainy I couldn't work on my tan.

Rylee and her friends also had a fabulous Tea Party on our porch! I cracked the window and listened to their conversation while working in the office and it was hilarious the things they talked about!

Rylee has pulled out her last two teeth on her own. Papa has been so disapointed! He loves to pull those babies out. Gotta love this stage where there grow in and they don't quite fit their face and you realize how expensive braces are going to be! I can't wait for school pictures this year, good thing she is so dang cute!

Kade and Andie got married on Friday June 19, We were so lucky to have the one sunny beautiful day in June to be there wedding day! They were a georgeous couple and I am so happy for both of them, welcome to the family Andie! Most all of our extended family was able to come, minus a few spouses, but we seem to always have a good time. It was fun to visit and catch up with everyone. Of course you have to have some b-ball in there when the Bunn's come to town! Girls against the boy's, Casey told Rylee she was going to set a screen for her, when they started the play, Rylee started Screaming!!! Bless her!

June is almost over and I only have about 9 weeks left to be pregnant, which is good because people keep asking me how much longer I have, like I am supposed to say any day now, but no I am still in the months left 2 to be exact :) As you can see in the above pictures I look like I have a basketball shoved up my shirt! Wow I hope I can make it two more months!
Strawberry Days was an adventure this year! It rained all day saturday the day we had planned to go to the Rodeo. My cousin Cody Bunn had made the official decision that the kids, well at least his son Keegan was going to Mutton Bust, Rain or shine or Mud! So we loaded up with coats and umbrella's and headed to the Rodeo Grounds. It was so muddy, and wet. We went and signed them in , all the kids were going to do it, Keegan, Tate, Kash and even Rylee got to do it again this year. Colby was to big so he got to do the Cash Cow. About 10 minutes after before it started the clouds parted and sun came out and it stopped raining. Still a muddy, muddy, mess, but it made for a good rodeo! Kash was the first one up and he face planted it right in the mud as soon as he came out of the shoot! He was covered! Poor guy, it was hilarious! After seeing him, a lot of the other kids backed out of going.

So much going on, so little time!

So much to catch up on, where do I start?? Hold on this may be a long post!
Our computer crashed and we just got it back and so I am trying to figure out all our picture stuff again, so it may be a little bit before I get pictures up sorry!

Well an update on the family first, Colby was in his very first musical! It was called Suessical Jr. He was a Whickersham(sp). We were so proud of him and the fantastic job he did. It was a cute musical and I couldn't believe the talent that is in our elementary, watch out David Archuelta, there are some kids that are going to put Eagle Mountain on the Map.
Both Rylee and Colby start Soccer this week and are very excited for this season!

Easter was a good time, with an egg hunt at Nana and Papa's and bar b que. The kids and I left Laren home for the week and went up to Ginny and Papa's in Idaho for Spring Break. Although it was more like winter break, it rained and snowed all week. Can I get a Raincheck for spring break? Anyway it was fun and the kids rode horses rain or snow, they didn't care. They loved to feed cows with uncle Tyler and play in the Arena. Colby even became a real cowboy and got bucked off....Well bounced off, it was more of a crow hop trying to get away from a barking dog. It was no 8 second ride, more like 2! He was a trooper and got right back on. The kids love to go there and I do to, Thanks to all in Idaho for the fun times!!

We rushed back thursday to make it to my Dr. Apt to see what flavor our baby is, blue berry or pink bubblegum????? The kids came in to the Ultra sound and were very excited, Rylee told the tech before she started, "So we want to have a girl" she laughed and said she would see what she could do about that. She pulled through and was able to tell us it would be Pink bubblegum or a GIRL!!! Rylee was thrilled and Colby just rolled his eyes and said "Oh Great". We are all very excited for this little girl to come and hope we can decide on a name by the time she gets hear.

I did get to take a couple of Me trips, I went down to Vegas for my best cousin Cody's police academy graduation. I am so proud of him and all his hard work. He was so serious, a side many don't get to see very often. Anyway Congrats Officer Bunn, We love ya!

Then some of my favorite girls in the whole world got together for one of our girls weekends in St George! It was so fun, talking, eating, talking, laughing, eating, shopping, laughing and photo shoots!! I love you girls and am so thankful that you all are in my life! A girl can't do without great friends!

Larens Birthday, another year older yet still gets better looking every day! I love you baby and hope you had a good birthay this year! Cherish these days you are getting old :)

Lets see April and may have been a blur! Why do I feel like life is passin me by and I have no motivation to do anything.....oh I'm pregnant! I still feel great, starting to feel the aches and pains of everything on and in your body streching, I have huge belly now and finally had to break down and buy some maternity clothes, or bigger sizes in normal clothes, I love the style for us Prenant mothers, Just don't make fun if I am wearing the same clothes when I am not pregnant! Hopefully they will look drastically different. We still don't have a name for this little Girl, so send in your suggestions!
Also I had two Sisters and two cousins Graduate from Dixie this May! It was so fun to get together with almost everyone in the family. Congratulations Girls I am so proud of all of you!
Our very good and dear freinds the Toponce's moved to Washington: ( We had a good bye party for them and want to wish them all the best! It won't be the same with out them. We are happy for them and their new start, it already looks like a place that we will need to visit!

The Kids are out of school! Rylee has already taken her first summer trip to California and Texas with her Dad, We were all glad to get her back home. Its not the same when she is gone. We went Camping/Fishing with our friends Cody and Amy and their family. It could have been warmer but we had a blast.
Pony express days are here and the kids are excited for the all day Carnival, it makes me sick just thinking about those rides but they love it so I will just work on my tan.
Hopefully soon I will get some pictures posted, sorry I have been such a slacker with my blog. I will really try to get it updated more often I promise!

Happy Happy Birthday Colby!

So today is Colby's 10th B-day! I can't believe he has gone from that to a ten year old smarty pants!! Wow how time fly's. Colby is such a smart, athletic and talented boy. We have been celebrating all weekend, we started Saturday with a spectacular party! He had 11 crazy boys over and I knew that I didn't want them in my house the whole time so we planned an Amazing Race Party for them. For those of you who don't watch the show, you should. We here at the boyce home love it. Anyway they split up into 3 groups and headed off to do 8 different tasks, after finishing each one they would receive the next clue to go do the next. It was so much fun to watch. They did some things like, Go to smiths, get shopping list from customer Service counter and purchase 3 specific things. 2. Go to Village Pizza and sing and do the actions to "I'm a little Tea Pot", 3. Make a poster at the Chevron that says Honk its my birthday and get 10 cars to honk at you. The list went on but it was hilarious and I think all the boy's had a pretty good time! Sunday he celebrated with his mom and Kip and there fam. Grandpa Boyce came Sunday night and we took the kids out of school to go to the Draper Temple open house today. What a beautiful Temple. I hope my kids realize the importance of Temples and the blessings that come from there. I did get a little nervous when we were walking through and Colby said wouldn't it be fun to run do a cannon ball in the baptismal font. I laughed and had a forward glimpse of when he is in Young Men's, Yikes! Happy birthday Colby we love you and can't wait to continue watching you grow into a great young man! Here are a few pic's from the party and happenings of the weekend.
Oh ya and I forgot to post about our exciting Super Bowl party. Any guess who we were cheering for? Laren has been a Steelers Fan since he was a little boy, He is a fan true and true, I am just glad they won otherwise it would have been a sad day at our house!

The secret password is???

So we had a great family night the other night! We told the kids we had a secret message they had to put together. I had a bunch of words cut up , in side 10 different balloons. They had to pop them and put the sentence together to find out the secret. They were so funny and had a great time. They had some trouble getting the sentence together, but this is what it said.......

They read it over and over, Colby got it and just smiled, rylee is a little slower to get it, she first unscrambled it to say your brother having a baby....."What colby's having a baby" she screamed! No, then we unscrambled it again and Colby read it out loud. I said, that means....YOUR Pregnant colby said with a huge smile. Rylee looked at me and yelled you are and I think it finally clicked with her! So yes we are having a baby! We will have the yours, mine and finally ours, but all in all we consider ourselves ONE lucky little family. I know its early but Laren couldn't wait to tell everyone, so we had to let the secret out. I am due Sept 1st. I feel great but am not looking forward to a long, hot, pregnant summer! I will keep you all updated and let you know as soon as we know the flavor!

A good day on the slopes!

Colby started skiing last year with his mom and step dad. He as done quite a few lessons and said he was really good, to good for just the bunny hill. So I finally dusted off my ski's and boots and went with him. Actually it was my mom's idea to take the kids to the free bunny hill at Sundance. So she and Ali took Rylee and Tate on the bunny hill and Kade, Colby and I went skiing for the day! It was cold but so much fun. I forget every year how much I love skiing. It is so fun and so much more fun to watch your kids enjoy it and do well at it. Colby kept right up with us. We might have held kade back just a little but he was a good coach for colby as well. Anyway way to go Colbs, you did awesome!
Thanks Mom and Ali for working with Rylee and Tate, I definitely got the better end of the deal on that one! Rylee you did so great , she looked at me one time and said man this is hard work and that was just after getting one boot on :) Then again to nana after holding onto the tow rope. Little kids look so cute all bundled up in there ski stuff maybe I make them do it purely for selfish reasons. I just want to squeeze them. Anyway Thanks nana for the wonderful day and way to go kids, I hope we can have many fun memorable days on the slopes!

I thought Christmas Break meant more of a Break!

We had the most wonderful Holiday Season I can't believe it has come and gone so quick. Christmas Break should be more of a Break and not so busy, oh well I guess I like it that way. I would like to tell everyone how grateful I am for Family and Friends and for my health, my families health and the gospel. I tried to have my kids keep the true meaning of christmas in there minds and bring it close to there hearts this year. We were able to do some things for others this year and I think that the kids really enjoyed giving almost as much as getting this year. I hope to make that a tradition, it was such a good feeling.
My whole extended family stayed at my mom and dads for Christmas this year, it was crowded but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love when we can all be together especially on Christmas. We went sledding skiing, played games and ate a lot! I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season and sorry I didn't get cards out this year, but from my family to yours " Happy Hollidays and a Happy New Year!"
Here are some pictures of the holiday happenings!
